This transformed Wienerberger from a local Austrian brick-maker into the world’s largest producer of bricks within a few years. During this time the number of production facilities rose from 11 to a level of243 plants in 26 countries.

Pure natural products made from clay

Clay - a pure and natural materialEver since it came into existence, Wienerberger has stood for high-quality clay products, which it sells today under the brands KORAMIC, POROTHERM, TERCA, PENTERand ARGETON.
Despite all the technical advances, Wienerberger products for roofs, walls, façades and floors remain pure natural products made from clay. Brick is one of the oldest building materials in history, and therefore sets a perfect example for the modern concept of sustainable products.
Wienerberger is exemplary for its diverse designs and creations, energy-efficient construction and durable quality, which hold their value for a very long time. Building with Wienerberger therefore represents an economically and ecologically sound investment in the future.
